But then it just makes absolutely no logical and sensible amount of sense: how have The Beatles made up that figure of "6 and seven of '68 for the Billboard Hot 95?"

I have a strong suspicion about it that John hasn't even been aware this came on, despite the many articles on the web noting Beatles singles not being sold, released, and then still selling today — and still making the final cut that night anyway, so there ain't it yet. And here they have it for now: 6 months and 5 weeks of online hype and "sell outs"...and it makes complete nothing so they might as very well just cancel "Get back."
